Pro Tips Tricks and Substitutions

  1. As mentioned, the longer you let the sauce sit the more the flavors will meld together and the better the sauce will be. Ideally, make it the day before you need it.
  2. Not everyone has a jar of pickles sitting in their fridge. You don't need to go out and buy a jar of pickles just to get a couple teaspoons of brine for it. You can substitute with apple cider vinegar, rice vinegar, or white vinegar. Just add about half the amount as vinegar is more concentrated.
  3. Use your favorite hot sauce, if you don't have sriracha.

FAQs

How long can I store Fry Sauce? Unused fry sauce should be stored in an airtight container in the fridge. It will last for about a week.

Can I freeze Fry Sauce? No, it does not freeze well due to the mayonnaise. I would use it up within a week instead of trying to freeze it.

What else can I serve with French Fry Dipping Sauce? This sauce also works great as a spread for hamburgers, sandwiches, even hot dogs. Of course you can dip your French fries in, but you can also dip sweet potato fries, chicken wings, chicken nuggets, onion rings, veggie sticks, or even use it in my chicken wrap.

I had to make this sauce. We love fries. It was so good that we added to our burgers, too. The dill pickle juice was such a unique flavor addition, the "Secret Ingredient".
