Sweet potato fries are adored for their natural sweetness and satisfying crispiness. Cooking them, especially in an air fryer, enhances their sweetness with a slight caramelization. Using frozen sweet potato fries adds convenience, offering a swift side dish for any meal.
Fill air fryer basket with a layer of the frozen sweet potato fries. A little overlap is ok, but you want good air circulation around the fries
Cook fries at 360F for 10 minutes
Shake basket to flip the fries and continue cooking for another 4 minutes or until the fries becoming crunchy and slightly golden
Immediately add a pinch of salt and pepper to the hot fries (or more if you prefer) and serve with your favourite dipping sauce.
Notes
Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the frozen sweet potato fries you have. Never hurts to give a taste test to tell if they are really done 😉.
You do not need to spray with vegetable oil before cooking. Most frozen fries come with a coating of oil already on them (the coating is frozen solid). If you want to add salt and pepper before cooking you can add a spray of vegetable oil and then sprinkle with salt and pepper. The oil spray allows the salt and pepper to stick to the fry, but you can skip this if you add the salt and pepper right after cooking. The hot oil present on the fries will allow the salt and pepper to stick. Why add the extra calories?
